It is sometimes useful to talk about the fact that you will always need to be outcompeting *new* systems in that future year. With solar system costs declining precipitiously, the amount that new system developers and owners are willing to take for their SRECs will decline as well. In my opnion, that factor will significantly outweigh the relatively modest increases in demand, which have to be considered against the global availability of PV.
