Tom Amis
Partner, Cooley LLP
Mr. Amis is a partner with Cooley LLP and co-chair of the firm's Clean Energy and Technologies Group. Mr. Amis has developed and financed projects in a number of industry sectors over the course of his career, with an emphasis on electric power projects. For the past decade, Mr. Amis's practice has focused on project development and finance in the renewable energy sector. Acting for both developers and lenders, he has negotiated joint development agreements; joint venture, partnership and other ownership documentation; turbine and panel supply contacts; balance of plant contracts and REC sales agreements; transmission and interconnection agreements; operating agreements; financing documents; and land use agreements. He also is highly experienced in developing projects structured around CERs generated pursuant to the Kyoto protocol.

Colin Bryant
Vice President, Paladin Capital Group
Mr. Bryant is a Vice President at Paladin Capital Group, where he is actively involved in the firm’s portfolio companies and principal investing activities. Mr. Bryant’s investment experience includes a broad spectrum of different industries and deal types, ranging from venture capital investments to middle-market buyouts to industrial project finance. Prior to joining Paladin Capital in 2002, Mr. Bryant was a founding member of The Vigilant Investors Fund, a hedge fund in Santa Monica, California. Prior to Vigilant, Mr. Bryant was a member of the management team of a Los Angeles based start-up. Mr. Bryant received his B.A. degree in Philosophy with Honors from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, where he focused on Logic and Analytical Philosophy.

Ed Feo
Managing Director, USRG Renewable Finance
Mr. Feo is a Managing Director of USRG Renewable Finance in Los Angeles. Previously he was a partner in the international law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. He co-chaired the Firm's project finance and energy practice with over one hundred professionals. Mr. Feo specializes in renewable energy projects. His team closed over two hundred renewable energy transactions and was recognized as one of the leading renewable energy law firms in the world, most recently having been named by Bloomberg New Energy Finance in 2010 as the Global Project Finance Law Firm of the Year and M&A Law Firm of the Year.

CEO, HN Hayes
Mr. Hayes is CEO of HN Hayes, and has over 30 years of managing industrial and technological businesses. Mr. Hayes has participated in the successful sale of two separate companies, each between $30-100 million, and is in the process of finalizing a third sale.

Jonathan Silver
Distinguished Fellow, Third Way
Mr. Silver is currently a Senior Distinguished Fellow at Third Way, and the former Executor Director of the DOE’s Loan Programs Office. Mr. Silver led the Obama Administration’s multi-billion dollar investment program in alternative energy, financing a wide range of solar, wind, geothermal, biofuels, fossil and nuclear energy projects. He also headed the government’s investment program in advanced automotive technology making significant investments in transmission and electric vehicle manufacturers including Ford, the Nissan Leaf, Tesla Motors and Fisker.

David Steinberg
CEO, Snapp Cloud
Mr. Steinberg has over 30 years of high technology leadership experience in sales, operations, technology and executive management. He is a leader in cloud and app marketing and sales; most recently, he was CEO of one of the most successful cloud companies through its founding and sale to Symantec for $124M in 2008. Mr. Steinberg has been active in the technology communities of Washington, DC and Silicon Valley and has grown many early stage technology companies by developing focused marketing and leveraged channel sales programs. He is currently the CEO of Washington, DC-based SnappCloud.
