A Variable Market-Based SREC Payment

Sol Brokerage allows customers to take advantage of high solar renewable energy credit (SREC) spot market prices without any effort or market knowledge required.  We make it easy by:

• Monitoring all solar renewable energy credit trading platforms and legislative changes
• Managing customers’ meter readings to track production
• Providing quarterly payments at the highest SREC prices

We will sell our customers’ SRECs through SREC purchase agreements with utilities and energy suppliers. Sol Systems charges Sol Brokerage customers the greater of 5% of the SREC clearing price or $5 per SREC sold.  If we are unable to find a buyer for all of our customers’ SRECs at an attractive price, we will hold these SRECs until the next quarterly cycle, and we will attempt to sell older SRECs first. Sol Brokerage contracts are available for all system sizes.
