Secure the Highest Spot Price for Your SRECs

Sol Brokerage lets you take advantage of high solar renewable energy certificates (SREC) spot market prices without any effort or market knowledge required.  In one year alone, these SREC payments can cover 10% of total solar energy system costs.  We make it easy by:

• Monitoring all solar renewable energy certificate trading platforms and legislative changes
• Establishing an aggressive floor price that reflects current market conditions
• Managing meter readings
• Providing quarterly payment for solar RECs at the highest prices

How it Works

1.   Sign up: Visit Sol Systems’ website and enter the requested details.  When you have entered all required information, you will receive a contract via email.

2.   Sign and Return Contract:  After the contract is generated, you will have 14 days to sign and return the contract to Sol Systems.  This agreement will permit us to sell your SRECs for an unfixed period of time.  There is no long-term commitment because we are sure you will be satisfied with the quality of our service.

4. Track System Status: You may log in to your customer account to track the status of your system.  You will be able to see whether we have received your signed contract, whether we have completed our internal review, submitted state paperwork, etc.  Please keep in mind that it can take 4-6 months to register with all regulatory agencies.

5.   Sell your SRECs:  As you produce SRECs, we’ll monitor all the SREC trading platforms to identify the most competitive SREC prices and we’ll enter SREC purchase agreement that allow us to meet or beat our floor price.  We’ll pay you the weighted average price of these purchases.

6.   Receive your payment: At the end of each quarter, you’ll receive a statement of SREC performance, a payment for each full SREC produced in the quarterly period, and the quarterly floor price for the next quarter.  (Please note it may take a few months before you receive your first payment because SRECs are generated one month after the energy is produced. For example, if you produce 1 MWh of solar energy in March, 1 SREC will be posted to your account on April 30th, and that SREC can be sold in May.)
